A See-Through Cabin In The Woods of Japan [Design]

Kelly Hodgkins ? Hidemi Nishida built a translucent cabin in the woods for the minimalist camper with a fondness for voyeurism.

The Shukaijo House is a temporary winter shelter constructed in the back woods of Sapporo, Japan. It's frame and flooring are timber and its walls are translucent sheets of plastic. It's designed to let you see out and others see in.

More an art form than a rugged cabin, the structure is made of six connected cubes with staggering heights. The cabin even includes lighting which gives it an ethereal glow. It's is bound to be a beacon for the weary hiker looking for a place to rest. [Hidemi Nishida via Fast Company]
